help needed please help the store is debenhams

hi all

Hope you are all well.

I have made a massive mistake on an internet order i acdientally put down the wrong number of the delivery address i contacted the company and because 30 min had passed they can not change the order or cancel it :0( they told me to contact the person at the incorrect address

i contacted my credit card who said they can not cancel it either

where do i stand guys please help me

I would have thought the c.c. co would have been a bit more helpful. Can't believe nobody's going to try and sort it out for you. The only thing left is to go to the address you put on the order and try and speak to them and hopefully they'll be decent enough and hand over your delivery when it comes. Good luck.

I may be wrong but if you pay for goods and do not receive them surely you have a claim?

surely they should allow you to cancel then order again for the right address did you ask to speak to the manager

I'd try phoning them again and ask to speak to their manager and try and get it sorted out. Surely someone can sort it out.

i did this not long ago when i ordered a phone and some dvds off play.com. I had moved house a few months earlier and when it came to the checkout process i still had my old address listed to my account, but without thinking i just pressed confirm.

I didnt even think about untill a day or two after when i wanted to buy something else and i realised that my old address was there and it had to be send there. Play said they couldnt do anything about it (even though it had not been despatched then). but i did go to my old house and explained and told them what haappened and they said they would call me when it arrived and they did.

So if i were you i would try seeing if you can cancel and reorder, by speaking to someone more senior and if that fails, explain to the person whose address it will go to.

the shop is debenhams i did speak to a team leader and they can not do anything

when did u order it..surely its not dispatched within 30 minutes...try calling again and say i want to cancel it

Can I change my order?
We are unable to amend your order, however, it may be possible for us to cancel your order on your behalf prior to despatch. Please call our Customer Services as soon as practically possible on 0845 605 5044. Once the item is despatched, we cannot cancel your order. You have up to 28 days to return your item for a full refund (upholstery and furniture excluded).
