Help needed with purchasing an on the wall Flueless gas fire for small room

I am going to have my integral garage converted to a study/den, The room will measure around 17ft by 7ft wide. I am looking for a flueless on the wall gas fire but most of the ones I have seen online have to have a minimum room size. Anyone know where I can buy one for a small room??

flueless....how does that work then?

no flue required, but you need to install a vent over the other side of the room in case the fire develops a fault. Fire uses a kind of catalytic filter to stop fumes getting into room:thumbsup:

Some companies have got more advanced non filter designs though.

We've already got a vent on side of room but also have a fire with a flue, just interested in this concept. How does the flame get it's oxygen without circulation of fresh air? or is the vent on the side of room for this purpose as well as safety. If the fire has no flue the air isn't going to be circulating from the vent past the fire up the flue...how does it work

Dunno the ins and outs of it, the only thing we find is sometimes the windows get condensated if we run the fire from max as soon as it's switched on.
A lot of people seem to have a bit of bother with this, still haven't found a solution yet.

dehumidifier  think that gives a clue as to how it works, but it's too early in the day to think that hard

you've got condensation inside the double glazing? or inside of the house? I've got condensation on the inside I drilled a hole into the bottom of the frame and the condensation went. Need to do the upstairs one now.

On the glass inside the house, only on cold morning and in the winter, a lot of neighbours have replaced their ten year old timber framed double glazing with pvc and this seems to have eradicated the problems.
Plus no more painting the frames.:thumbsup:
