The k850is have been a disaster for SE... My brothers one broke last week, got the replacement on Monday and that arrived with the same problem! (Non-Functioning Touchscreen) so the replacement will be arriving today. 3rd time lucky I guess

Have you tried the SE Update Service? may be firmware to fix the issue?

Thanks for your help.
I have just rang O2 and I am still under warrenty, so they suggested sending it back for a replacement.
Thanks for your assistance

Be aware that the replacement could be a repair from someone else and may be in poor condition. Examine it in the shop and try to use it. When I took one which went wrong almost immediately the manager told me it looked as though I could not look after a phone and he marked as abused.
The o2 shop can give you a £20 refund to your account if you claim you have been unable to use your contract. If you go through customer services you may get more.
My K850i has been replaced by an N82 after six months of failings.

I wouldn't worry about that, my brothers started off a refurbished so they'll only give him them and they all look brand spankin' new, the strange plastic covers and all  Just you know... the small problem with being broken on arrival

For replacing it with another phone like aylesby O2 require you have 3 replacements break before they'll let you change it... :?
