Help please-who to book with for USA etc...

Son has just told me he will be getting married in August or September in USA!! while i am very happy about this we will need to get there...and do something after the nuptuals as there is no way im gonna fly all that was for a weekend!

Anyway...we will have the kids and the youngest will be 5....and eldest passenger 80..so we need convenience too..the closest airport is Washington Dulles or Baltimore and we live near Manchester and Liverpool airports so no directs.

Which site is best to look at for flights? and any suggestions what we can do in that area after for two weeks...we can hire a car ofcourse and kids like travelling..or an internal flight(not disney tho) would love a beach destination!

Rep for anyone can help. Thanks!!!

have a great time

Virgin are the Best airline I have ever flew with - Unsure on prices.

Are you just looking for flights or intend combining it as a package holiday? I would recommend trying the usual: www.opodo.co.uk / www.netflights.co.uk / www.expedia.co.uk.
What I tend to do, is compare the prices on each site then check directly with the airline, as sometimes it works out cheaper (or more expensive). To be honest, you just have to spend some time searching and hoping that something cheap will come up.
Hiring a car would be a great idea and taking a road trip - however I have no suggestions on where to go as that is a holiday area I am yet to explore.
I hope you have a fab time!

Thanks for that-i thought they were worse...son says the connections are fraught in USA-one time they overbooked his fiances flights and they wanted to bump her...she was distraught as alone too..i would go crazy if they did it with me and my menagerie lol.

I need help with places to visit too-im going to try tripadvisor as im told delaware is lovely for beaches and its travelling distance:)

I fly with Virgin at least once a year, they are the best in my opinion:thumbsup:

+1 for me on american airlines food, legroom and entertainment is far better than uk airlines, I flew with United Airlines when I went to New York and its was fantastic food was yummy and they had so many movies which were still in the cinemas I didnt get bored once in the flight, all this is making me want to go again lol and have a great trip.
