The XD80 is a good choice that ticks all the boxes except full HDR. All the catch apps, a full set of HDCP compatible inputs, high SDR brightness etc. There's also the XD83 variant with a 100hz panel if you watch a lot of sport for a little bit more.

The key decision is generally whether to spend the extra ~£200 and opt for the Samsung KS7500 which has a much higher brightness range and some basic backlight control which means it should have more impact in HDR content.

The other thing to be aware of is that the 43" XD80 has a VA panel unlike the other sizes in that model so contrast will be better but viewing angles more limited than larger sizes.

p.s. The equivalent Samsung to the Sony XD80 would be the KU6400 (flat) or KU6500 (curved). The KU6020 is closer to the XD70.
