Help range cooker damage spotted after 14 days

I bought an ex display range cooker from an online retailer, they informed me there were a couple of scratches which I was happy to accept. The cooker was delivered on 4th September, I had it installed 27th September. Today 29th September, I discovered some rust patches above the oven, under the display panel. This would not be visible unless the oven doors were open and you were sitting on the floor looking up at the top of the oven. The rust is quite bad and has been there for some time.
My question is: can I return the cooker for a full refund?

Probably. If the rust wasn't mentioned in the description of item then it's fair to say that you'd received something in a worse condition than you were expecting. Just put in a request to return the item for a refund due to the item being not as described.
you get 30 days under the consumer rights act for 'satisfactory quality' so you should be fine for a refund
