Help searching for a DVD player with SD input and able to play AVI files

I am looking for a DVD player that can take and play from a SD card and can also play AVI films and if it has any other wee perks then bonus.

I usually would search for this myself but I am not even sure where to start or what to type in to search so any help appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi Guys

This should be useful to both of you.

I have 2 of these myself and can vouch for the quality for the price of these. It's the Sumvision Pheonix from Micro Direct. It costs £34.94 +p&p (£39.53 inc delivery to UK) if you're not in Manchester. But will play video media straight off either a USB stick or SD/MS card. It's HDMI, so will upscale too.

    Have a look here: microdirect.co.uk/Hom…ith

    Hope it helps. :-D

can anyone tell me whta is the best USB stick from these 2

    or

    ]http//ww…796

obviously 2 different sizes and prices the chaeper one would be fine but the thought that it might not work or could be a fake makes me lean towards buying the bigger one from amazon, would there be any problems from either playing on the sumvision dvd player??

Glad to help out mate.

I'm going to be speaking bias here, but I would go for the Sandisk Cruzer. I say this because I use one myself, they will do the job you want it for and £ for £, it's at a good price. If you go for the Sandisk and you want to take off the U3 software, you will have to use a piece of software from their site. If you can't find it, PM me and I'll point you in the right direction.

    :-D
