help to find a gaming laptop

Hi all I'm after a gaming laptop looking at spending around the £800 mark I'm really not sure what I'm looking for regarding spec and what all the spec stands for.

For a half decent gaming laptop look good the following
    Minimum spec (core components only)

CPU - Quad core last generation (Skylake) i5
    8gb RAM
GPU 1050, (1050ti preferable) or equivalent AMD 400 series
This will play modern games at 1080p with medium to high settings
The NVIDIA 1050ti is VR certified, the 1050 is not.

    Decent spec (core components only)

CPU - Quad core Skylake or Kaby Lake i5
    16gb RAM
    GPU 1060 or AMD 400 series (480 I think)

At 1080p This will play some next gen games with at least medium high settings and a lot of current gen games at very high to ultra settings.
It will also play games at 2k resolution with medium to high settings. The NVIDIA 1060 is also VR certified.
