# Help - too old for this - math question

can someone work this out for me please

80 litres of LPG which equals 17.5 gallons

OK

so my car just did 360 miles on a full tank - as above 80 litres

how many miles does it do to the gallon

Help please cant seem to work out how many more miles my car now does to the gallon since I had it converted to LPG

It used to do 22 on ordinary petrol

This effectively means that once you've filled your tank a little over 50 times, you'll start making a saving and the conversion has effectively paid for itself.

440 TIMES 20 = 8800 miles at todays prices before it starts to pay for itself, thats not bad

Hmm I hope that works out.

Seems a bit pricey though would be interesting to see if your road tax went down at all?

i find a better measure of consumption rather than miles per gallon, is pence per mile. My car went from 18p per mile to 9p per mile. Then its a lot easier to work out how much you're saving!
