Help with: 6.35mm 1/4 inch Mono Jack Plug splitter

Found 23rd Dec 2014
This is a long shot, but I am wanting a Mono splitter cable, from one mono 6.35mm male jack, to two female 6.35mm jacks.
I can find stereo ones everywhere, but no mono to mono ones which are decent quality.
I have found on amazon/ebay cheap looking nasty ones, but I want a decent quality one that will last lugging it about.
Maplins etc don't have any, and nor did the audio/music stores in my area.

Preferable one with a lead, not the plastic block ones as it's for my guitar and might put extra strain on the jack.
Similar to amazon.co.uk/gp/…M11 but good quality.

Thanks anyone that can help! Merry Christmas

I'd use a stereo one or make one up from components.

All they are is connectors and wire.

I have two stereo ones but as the output is mono from the guitar, only one of the jack-splitters work unfortunately.
I thought it was an issue with the lead so purchased another, but turns out that's the reason...
So hunting out a mono one now.

Just had a look on DV247.com - nothing offered and they seem to keep pretty much everything....

I think you either need to make your own, or hack one of the stereo one's you already have to work - should just be a case of moving one of the stereo pair to the other terminal in the male end.

Thanks for taking a look! I have tried everywhere and they're either really cheap nasty bits of cable, or just not what I need.
They're everywhere in USA...
I tried combining the two I had. Thought I had a eureka moment... didn't work

Maybe i'll look on youtube for a way to do it if I can't find anything! Thanks

Just had a 'better' look on DV247.com and found this, you'd need to grab a mono extender cable to save the socket though - it'll just plug and play.

dv247.com/cab…855

EDIT: Typical, I then found this - dv247.com/cab…501 doesn't look pro quality though.

Thanks for the help! Might get one and see what it's like! Never know, it might be better than it looks
