must be able to handle multi tasking (as in using remote desktop for work)
budget up to and including £200 mark

Would it not be cheaper to buy a HD TV?

ebuyer.com/pro…411 - I know there banned from advertising here. But I deffo don't work for them.

tbh you cant go far wrong with this:

    22"
    ]http//ww…316

or if you just cant live without that extra inch:
    23"

there are cheaper ones as well, but i've found the Samsung ones to be good. if they dont tickle your fancy just have a browse around here:

    Personally i use a 23" Acer x223w

I would go with the 22" samsung. 3 year warranty are ace. I'm pretty sure thats home replacement.

I avoid samsung's monitor division after how that handled the 226BW.

I'd recommend the Dell 2209WA as it's the first high quality (non-TN) 22" to reach under £200 and has had some great reviews.
