Help with cheapest way to call France/Greece/Spain etc

Hi,

Can anyone help with the cheapest way to call the above countries, ideally nothing complicated as it's for elderly grandparents. So maybe a sim card that you can easily top up or a number you call like a 03 number and then type the French number in?

Ideally 1p-3p per minute or something.
Thanks

What landline provider are they with? I'm with talk talk and have the package that I can ring Spain I think from memory that is around £4-£5
Localphone (https://www.localphone.com) is another option if they will be calling Landlines.
Greece 1.7p a minute (includes VAT).
Spain 1p a minute (includes VAT).

Mobiles are a bit more expensive however.

Left side prices exclude VAT, right side prices include VAT.
We use 1899.com when we call Europe using our landline. I.e. after a one-time registration you dial 1899 followed by the phone number.
