    Help with DSTT card

Hi, is my dstt card goosed or can anyone recommend anything I can try? Downloaded v1.06 files and placed at root of 4gbsdhc mini card. Then a games folder with backup games. Anyway I am having trouble getting my ds lite to see the card. It has shown the DSTT menu twice and I have tried reinserting card, booting it up with card inside etc etc. Anyonegot any thoughts? Can I try Moonshell software ininstead or does this sound more hardware than software? It just goes in to normal menu which says no ds cartridge inserted. Reason I loaded 1.06 was that sys file is missing off download site for 1.08 and some people have noted problem with 1.07...Cant use my R4 card yetas dont have any micro sd cards!

Surely you can just use the same micro SD in both devices, I did before, it works fine.
Currently I have the firmware for the TTDS and the EDGE cards on my micro sd, so which ever one I pick up it will play, and the save files are compatible to boot :

Try having a look for the 1.08 firmware, should be easy enough to install, it does sound like a software fault, not the actual card, if your still having problems tomorrow i'll send you my files, but for now I am going to bed

The R4 cant use Micro sdhc cards I dont think - it just came up saying loading.... when I inserted in the R4?

Aha yes, R4 only takes up to 2gb normal types.

hi,i dont think that you have to create a games folder just put .nds game straight on root of memory stick, however my experience is with r4, supercard, but am interested because i have ordered one myself:)
failing that just re-format and put files and games back on....m

It is VERY advisable to create a separate folder for your games and save files on the TTDS, otherwise you run the (very large) risk of your games "hanging" (freezing up) during loading, especially once you start filling up your microSD with lots of games.

This problem seems to be unique to the TTDS. With the R4/M3 etc. it's fine to put all your games on the root of your microSD.

See my post at the top of this page for details :
