I used to think the same - but now I think their CS is pretty much the best out there!

i purchased a printer, it came minus the power lead, after i dont know how many emails i contacted epson direct who sent me a printer and picked up the other, then ebuyer decided to send me one after i sent them an email to show my utter disgust in their service, probs about 2 years ago now, but vowed never to shop there again

They used to be bad but they have improved massively over the last few years, I must have had over £1500 of goods from them in the last year and not one problem in over a dozen orders.

OK!. No probs. I can understand your thoughts..... but they definately have improved!

A car DVD player I bought from them last November went wrong. I called them expecting a RMA and have to pay for the return. They collected by courier FOC and I had a brand new replacement less than a week later. I also had a couple of items arrive DOA. A quick call and they sent out replacements each time - without having to send the old one back. I'm very impressed with that!

    Odd.

I ordered a PC case from eBuyer once which came without PSU it was supposed to come with. I sent them an email telling them that it hadn't come with the PSU and linked to and quoted the description where it said it should've come with a PSU, and they were fine with it. Sent me out an eBuyer own-brand PSU which arrived the next day. It was a higher spec than the one the case was meant to have come with, too.

I'm not sure what happened with yours. Was the printer meant to have come with a cable? My last one didn't. They're high mark-up items which usually come sold seperately, same as USB cables. I wonder if maybe your disgust and angry emails were maybe misdirected.
