Bite the bullet for now and put a bigger HD in - it's not hard.

I tried using one of these
amazon.co.uk/Eas…8-1

but it required watching the actual programme and it wasnt all that easy and didnt look as good. i have heard that you can take out the hard drive and actually transfer the files over but i have not gone that far yet!

I have a domestic DVD recorder connected to my Sky box via a scart lead.

I often record things on to DVD that are stored on my Sky+ box.

Very very easy to do.

:thumbsup:Thank you for the help rep left for you all. What model dvd recorder do you use or should it work with all dvd recorder's.

we used to just transfer to dvd however we had to play the programme whilst recording it to dvd if you get me x

I did this a while ago,
If theres a number of different programs to record than you can set the skybox to just play them overnight and set the record button on the dvd.
Let me know if you need step by step on how to do that on the box and I will go downstairs and have a look.

Thank you both i think we may have to buy a cheap recorder. Don't want to spend a fortune, but would pay way more if there was a blu-ray player that is also a dvd recorder. As i have not looked into it i may find there is already this kind of thing on the market.:)
