Help with Sky Anytime Plus WIFI Bridge set up...

I have a Sky HD box downstairs in my lounge and my Sky Netgear router is upstairs in my home office connected to my PC.

I am looking at this item from eBay which is £22 Item number: 200565036623

It states that once setup is complete the Blue and Orange LED lights on the Wifi bridge will flash, now you can disconnect from your PC and connect to any device that is currently hard wired to your wireless router.

What does it mean by hard wired? Do I need a cable running around the house to my router upstairs?

so once set up I don't need any more cables...simply set up the bridge on my PC upstairs and connect the item to my Sky HD box downstairs and it will work wirelessly?
