    help with the company dell

    i ordered a wii fit at the begining of january but cancelled on 21st. they recieved a email on 1st febuary saying they will email me when they despatch my order. So i phoned them up told them i had canceled it, which they tried denying and after saying i still had the email i sent cancelling the order they agreed that i did cancel on 21st. They then said they have already taken the money out of my bank and they would refund it. So i phone my bank to find out they havent taken the money out. Phone dell back up and tell them no money has been taken out which they agree and say its due to be taken out in a few days but reasure me that it will now definitly not go out of my bank. Few days later get a letter from my bank saying dell have taken my money out and i am now overdrawn and have to pay bank charges. When i phone dell they say they wont pay my bank charge and keep repeating the same thing as if there reading out of a book. Does anyone know if there is someone else at dell who i could speak to that could help me. Even when asking for there complaints number or adress they refuse to give it to me.

    So the problem you state is they took the money out (as expected) leaving you overdrawn (because you didn't have the funds in the bank) and are now in debt of those charges, that Dell refuse to pay? I expect Dell will refund you the console amount shortly, but unlikely to do the charges.

    Yes, I'm aware you said you cancelled previously, so no idea as to why still charged.

    I was reasured by dell that they would not take the money out, if i knew they would take it out i would have transfered money from my savings into my acount. Does anyone know anyone to contact apart from the indians as they refuse to help

    you got more chance the bank will wipe your charges than dell paying them

    no luck with that. after phoning my bank about going overdrawn they said i wasnt going to be charged only for me to get a letter saying ive been charged. Spoke to some guy in the complaints department for barclays and he said i would be charged and its not there fault someone told me the wrong information.

    If writing to above, make sure you sent it recorded and allow 1 month for callback from Mumbia.
    I waiting 6 weeks, called technical support again 'Sir we didn't get that letter', told them I send recorded to put me threw to relations, 'Sir we have no access to them or email address' , after another hassle on the phone, few days later gotten a callback frmo Mumbia.
