Help with WD Passport RMA/Customer Services

    Basically, I sent my 160gb WD passport for replacement back to WD, and I havent heard anything from them for over 2 weeks, apart from that they had recieved it at their collection point, which is halfway between their actaul RMA facility.

    I cant find a number anywhere to call them, apart from a number somewhere in Europe.

    Has anyone had any experiance with this process, or has/could find a UK telephone number?

    The British number is listed at…048 as 00800- 27549338 . As this number covers all of Europe though, it doesn't specify what country calling code you need to use. The double-0 before the 8 makes me think it's maybe an American number, in which case using Telediscount (google it) to try it would make sense, since it'll only cost you a penny a minute that way.

    It's a toll free European number.

    I once used their replacement service and they sent me a used one as a replacement drive. I kept my old drive without any scratches and got a replacement drive with plenty of scratches.

    thanks guys for your help, i spoke to someone who told me there was a 2 week delay. rep added to you guys :thumbsup:

    yeh same for me. rang them up and said there was a delay and hopefully i should have it back next week (doubt it though)
