Help!...advice needed on haircut for a Man

Im in my late teens and i have started styling my hair so it has a "sideswept" appearance, similar to this

However now its too long and i need it trimmed but im not sure where i should go, since ive never been to a salon before would my local barbers be able to trim it back a bit withoout messing it up :S....i only went to the barbers before to get short back and sides, so this is a new look for me....advice?

you need to go to a proper saloon and make small talk with some mincer for an hour or so. and pay through the nose for the privilege.

i cant see why they wouldnt be able to do what you want, when you walk in just say i want to walk out with the same style, just tidier and trimmed, if they look at you weird then walk back out - lol

    BALL HEAD.

shave that bad boy down to a number 1-2

I would think most barbers keep upto date with trends, try them out. if it turns out awful you can shave it all off and start again. and proberbly save yourself £35 in the progress.:w00t:

    Buzz Cut!!!! YEAH

I would never copy your style! The way you come across just breeds stupidity... i would not want to be associated with that or have the look associated with that.

Its a nice idea though JFK so top marks for effort and your response.

depends where you live but most big cities have model day/night in the top salons, the actual hairdressers are fully qualified but training to cut in the style of their particular salon. You might be there for a couple of hours but you will get a real top class hair cut for either free or a fraction of the price. Look up Tony and Guy etc
