I havent altered the starting bid just trying to get my photos on that are free,

Are you making the start price higher, adding photos, adding a subtitle or something like that?

I was just adding photos that I hadnt taken when doing the listing, but they are free and any amount too!

only 1st photo is free

You could add more photos by hosting them somewhere like photobucket then cut & paste the html into the body of the ad.
I personally use auctiva but not sure you can do the above with that as I use it at the start of the auction only then use eyecatching templates - lets you put unlimited photos on as well.

Hi, I was only adding the 1st photo which is free,so thats not the problem, I tested it by clicking revise on another listing without doing any thing and there was a charge in the bottom corner,

Don't know if what you're doing is right or not but it wouldn't surprise me if they were now charging for revisions as they are turning into real money grabbers at the mo. I've really gone off selling on there as clothes don't seem to sell for anything anymore and you then lose most of what you have made in charges. When my winter clothes come out the loft I'm off to a car boot sale instead!!

Thats what im starting to think, I just cant find any information on it, i was hoping someone else who has a listing on there would see if it is the same for them.

Its must have been a glitch because revising now is back to being free, thanks every one for your advise.
