Our Samsung one was good, but we are replacing it with a Smeg - not tried that one yet though.

Beko are making good machines at the minute. Used to sell them and there's alot more to go wrong with the dual washer/dryers. If you've got the space get seperate machines.

we get zanussi they last ages

I have an AEG which washes all my clothes very nicely including my Sandisk usb which still works after a main wash!

If you can afford the base model miele I'd fully recommend it. We now have the tumble dryer and washer separate and I am in love. The quality is evident in both the machines themselves and the clothes that come out (much dryer from washing machine and not all balled up from the dryer, also much less creased on both counts).

The initial investment is higher, but since Miele products last so long, overall it should save you money.

Whatever you do don't buy a hotpoint.

I like this article thetoptensite.com/Thi…tml I think I'd recommend John Lewis just for the extended warranty.

Well that's pretty much every make covered!

Did I say I once owned a Bosch?

and am amazed at the 11Kg LG steamer?

Just buy a Candy cheap enough to replace after the warranty expires?

Beko all the way.

Have had a Beko washing machine for 6 years now and for the first year of it's life it was used at least 21 times a week. My mums house was being renovated and they washed their clothes at ours. 7 people 3 of whom were babies plus our 6, of whom 4 were babies. Spectacular washing machine not a glitch ever and we still use it at least 7 times a week.

Washer driers are more likely to break compared to keeping them separate machines. If u really want high quality, miele bosch and siemens are generally regarded as high end and reliable if u can spend £400-800. Bosch also make cheaper machines around 300 now that are less reliable so you do have to spend the money on the right brand. Hotpoint and candy are generally regarded as crap especially the cheaper ones. I use beko myself which has been ok. The rest of my family use miele siemens or bosch mostly.

Beko condenser dryer

beko, replaced fridge freezer, washer and a new dryer when ex left( thank God haha

I'd also recommend a Miele as well. We have a washer and a tumble dryer. Would highly rate both. Had no issues. Can also say wait for your 2 year warranty to come near an end they send you a special offer for an extra 5 or 10 year extension.

It is yes out of all these though I'd expect the Beko to be the cheapest and its a brand getting stronger and stronger.

Have separates if you can, Much more economical and efficient and will last years longer. Like suggested avoid Hotpoint/Indesit/Ariston/Whirlpool, Hoover/Candy.

If you're going down the budget road then Beko are probably the better option.

Bosch/Miele/Samsung/LG and Panasonic are usually regarded as being the most reliable etc..

Kenwood for life!

Miele, no question.

I bought the samsung ecobubble in April and can't fault it. can do quick washes and dries very well depending on which setting you use and as long as you don't overfill the drum. We're a family of 6 and for a few months of the year we have my inlaws too so 8 of us and it copes well with all our needs. I got the 12kg version. my previous zanussi washer dryer had fault after fault but still lasted 10 years if you look after them they'll last. Most people overload hence they breakdown and don't clean out the lint. Every month I do a vinegar wash to keep the drum clean and it's worked well for me. hope that helps you.

saying that if I could have afforded it I would have got the lg.
