Afternoon All.

I'm looking for some idea on how i could hide my wires for when i wall mount my 50" plasma. I dont really want to cut into the plasterboard and send the wires through there. So what else could i do?

I'll have my sky HD, PS3 and wii connected?

Also i'm looking for a unit or a side cabinet that i could use to store my sky box, wii and ps3...anyone got any ideas on what i could get??

You can get curved trunking that can be stuck to the wall and then painted... it's like half eclipse stuff so will hardly be noticeable. Not sure if you'd be able to get all those cables through one though.

B&Q do them.
Screwfix (and probably Wickes etc) do trunking for this.............

I cut a hole in the skirting board and fed the cables up throught the plasterboard and used brush gang plates (available from Wickes) as entry/exit points.

where did you get this from?

this might be too big. I'm looking for something that i could put next to the sofa (use it as a side table and storage for my electricals)

Click the piccy, it's from Argos. It is quite big, about 6ft, but it's quite neat against the wall plus wall mountable too which is handy.
For the price and time you pay to send the wiring through some trunking it would be easier to and cheaper to get an electrician to install both aerial and sockets where you would like the tv to be. No doubt he wil install the tv bracket for you too

But i want to hide the wiring that connects the tv to the ps3, sky hd box and wii...the electrical wiring is not the main issue
I had a similar challenge. I didn't fancy gouging a bit of my brick wall out for the cables as it's a bit beyond my skill level, so what I decided to do was to buy some paneling from Ikea that matched my AV Display Unit and simply run the cable behind that. I'll take a few pics and post them shortly to let you get an idea of what I mean. p.s the paneling cost £10.
Below are two pictures, a front view and a side-on view. I also put a kitchen under-unit light behind the tv for the perfect light when watching movies at night.

EDIT: I've since changed AV units etc and unfortunately deleted the pics showing the way it was previously.
