High Definition TV with Virgin Media

So my parent's have got a new tv which is HD ready etc

They've been with Virgin for years and are happy with the service and dont wana change providers cos they get their tv, broadband and phone through them

Thing is the virgin box they've got isnt a hd set top one. Does anybody know how much they'll charge for one or is there any tatics to get one free off them? I think my parents are on the medium package but not 100% on that

sky r doing free box just £35 instalation fee if vrgin not doing it yet they soon will you could try "we r moving to sky so will be moving the full package" they may come up with a deal to keep you, I only pay £10pm for 10g BB get a £10 refund every month cos i did this 2 years ago.

it is worth a try let me know if it works

i got one and got it for £50, but they had an offer on at the time think it should have been £150- worth phoning and asking them. as i did that didnt know about the offer.
great box as well - 3 seperate tuners.

I told virgin i was leaving to go to sky for a free HD box and they gave it to me for free plus instalation and upgraded my channels for the HD package at no extre charge per month.
