    High Performance PC

I need a PC for video editing, graphics manipulation and audio production.

Am looking for an new generation Core i7 (sandy bridge) (2600k)

with at least 8gb ram (preferably 16gb)

    with a good graphics card

    usb 3.0

    1tb hdd (preferably 1.5)

    N wifi

If the price is right I might stoop for a laptop but I think I am better off with a desktop

If it works out much cheaper I might just get the components and get it built by someone

    looking to pay about £800

    all help appreciated.

How does the i7 2600k compare to the 950?

How difficult was it to build?

Also you only got 6gb ram there?

not realy played with the 950 but the i7 has took anything i have thrown at it so far, 6 gig of ram if runnign pritty swift and it is HyperX XMP Memory Kit but you can always get more if you need it for graphic programing

build was easy but i made shore everything was compaterble befor i brought, i have brought a better cpu fan incase i want to overclock at some point, and a cm case but its running mint if i must say so my self, if your running graphics programming you might want to get a ssd drive just for the os and program to do your programming
