Highest Capacity External Hard Drive for £50 ?

Looking for a cheap external hard drive, around 500GB if possible or more for around £50..

Im not too bothered about speed as its just going to be used as a 3 set of copies for my photo backups, (currently got around 200GB of them backed up arcoss 2 internal drives.)

Any ideas of a good deal ?

Cheers

Rick

You want a portable one (powered by usb) or external hard drive (powered by power supply)

Hi,

Im after the Highest Capacity for the price, it can be AC powered. - desktop size, cheaper the better!

i have found this on Argos..

argos.co.uk/web…609

Colour black.
Plug and play.
Sleek, stylish design.
USB cable, power adaptor, quick start guide included.
Works with Windows Vista, Windows XP, or Mac OSX 10.4.8 or higher.
Compatible with USB 2.0.

The reviews for it seem ok.

Thinking about it, I also need to buy something from there tommrrow for £60, So i will get a "£5.00 voucher if the offer is still on, then I can get £5.00 off the drive which i will buy a few minutes later!)

Cheers

Rick
