Hisense or samsung ue55mu7000

Hi all, I’m looking to buy a new 55” tv for general viewing including 4K content and I’ve seen a lot of positive talk on here about hisense TVs which was leading me to look at deals on those.

But reading comments on here it seems the consensus for sub £1000 TVs is the Samsung may be the best choice, can anyone offer a comparison between the Samsung and an equivalent priced hisense? The Samsung is at RS for £599 which is probably as much as I’d really like to spend.

I do have an LG OLED already but this is for the kids/wife 😁

The equivalent Hisense would be the NU8700 which is currently £100 more.
Forever Samsung
I'd go for the Hisense H55U7A, looks stunning
£550 on AO with 10% off code
I got the mu557000 two weeks ago, love it s far, 4k on Netflix looks great, so does the 4k footy on iplayer,
Looking at the deal on the mu6120 now, while it’s not as good it’s close to half the price and I can always upgrade in a couple of years or so if I’m not happy:

Makes me think you’re better off with a mid range or lower at a good price with regularly upgrades. Vs top price model and youd still end up with more bang for your buck for the same money spent, but I guess it comes down to what you want!!!
