Holiday 11th - 13th April Lake district!

    Hey guys! need help!

    Wanting to go to lake district but all the places i call are fully booked!!! aarrghhhh!!!

    for 2 ppl...

    Any idea where the best place is and for a decent location/price? Any advice guys?

    I've emailed the tourism department for lake district... and they just referred me to a website - which half are fully booked.....

    Please help! I really want to go!

    Also, the dates you going some places might not accept u as most places at easter only do 3 nights

    the lake district is pretty big! any ideas were you want to stay? what type of accomandation?
    can you just not use google then phone and email loads leave your details and they will contact you if they can help

    Surely there are plenty of campsites with spaces?

    Might be a bit too south of the Lakes for you, but Holiday Inn have a BOGOF offer on Room Only Deals at the moment. They have a hotel in Lancaster (about 20 miles south of Kendal) which is £47.50 per night for 11th to 13th April:…576

    Hotel has Pool, Sauna, Gym, etc. Just remember it's room only though, so no breakie!

    ok ill give these ppl a call... and ill check out the hotels...

    I've never been to lake district... and really want to go with my GF,

    really want to be near keswick. as ill have no car - and i want to walk to places...

    i have no idea what to expect... just wanted an idea of wheres the best place really...

    why not try windemere? there are some lovely walks around there and you can get the boat over to ambleside...

    this is were we always stay .......its a bit out the way I suppose but its a buy two get one night free and with walking distance from a pub litterly 4 mins walk away.


    iv got a number off a lady on a farm at threkeld (think thats how you spell it!) she has about 10 statics for hire and also allows tents, she cheap i got a 3 bed van for £120 for a week,
    lots of lovely walks theres a bus outside site or its about a half hour lovely walk into keswick.
    would this be any good?

    they not top of the range but they are clean and comfy with lovely veiws

    bambu... that doesnt sound too bad, do you have the number?

    thers 3 reviews and contact info here - some say the tent toilets arent clean but i found them clean, this is a farm so there is animals about. its run by a oldish couple and their son who are very freindly and extremly helpful , they do accept tents at £3 per night theres also a old chalet they hire out.
