It's my partners 21st on may the 8th and i wanted to take him away to amsterdam for the weekend, wanted to spend about £300 for the both of us but obviously the cheaper the better.

i want to go away from the 11th to the 14th of may flying from cardiff the cheapest deal ive found is on but thats like £340 without insuarnce so if anyone can find anything better i would be super grateful.

try for flights, hotel and insurance - I believe you'll be able to get insurance for less than £10 per couple.
is also worth a look for flights and hotel.

I have noticed that if you could go a day earlier, depart from bournemouth, and come back a day later, you can get return flights with thomson for only £81.42 total

Had a look round for you. I've looked at packages and also booking flights and hotel separately. Flights from Cardiff with BMI baby are £88 per person then it depends on the price of the hotel. Hotels in Amsterdam can be quite pricey. Hotel only with Alpha Rooms is from £200 in total, so putting you over your budget.

Flights from Bristol with Easyjet are cheaper at around £74 per person but by the time you take into account travelling to Bristol, parking etc you are better off paying the price from Cardiff.

The price on Lastminute seems to be your best bet at the moment. Insurance for 3 nights won't be expensive, there are loads of companies that you can do it with including Lastminute if you book your flights and hotel with them

i stayed in this hotel last april ]http//ww…nx/ this hotle is cheap but clean tidy and recently done up. it also feels quite traditional

Found a flight with klm ]click here £183 for the both of you.

That would leave £120 for accommodation, which means you will be looking at something no frills and budget, but I would not worry too much, you can usually get something clean and basic for this price, maybe 1 or 2 star.

There is this place in the museum quarter, small and basic but only 65 euros a night (just over £120 for the 3 nights, roughly by my calculations) ]click here

Edit: included another link ]click here this is for skyscanner,if you click on the alternative links(i did the klm one for the above quoted price) you may get a few £ shaved off that £183 price
