Holiday Request-London, Paris or Venice?

Hi i recently got married and want to go for a small break, can anyone recommend somewhere ideally want to go venice but im on a budget!!!

    Lol help please!!!!!!

Travel anytime sooner the better ie after the 12march preferably should leave on a thursday evening and be back for tuesday or wednesday as i have uni on a thursday!

I did a weekend in venice a little while ago, and it worked out cheaper than a weekend in London!
I flew Ryanair to Treviso and got the bus from there to Venice (£5 pp return) (The bus timetable is in line with the flights)
I then stayed at the Locanda Al Gambero (…htm)
This is situated halfway between the Rialto bridge and St. Marks Square, so location couldn't be better! and they have rooms that overlook the canal as well, so nice and romantic. And theres also some very reasonably priced resteraunts very close by that a lot of locals seem to go in.
Its not the cheapest place to stay, but its no where near the most expensive (i just checked that 4 nights in a canal view room over a long weekend (4 nights) will be about 650 Euros So about £120 a night for the room)
With flights going as cheap as £40 a person then the whole deal comes to about £600 for both of you for 4 nights in a central hotel with canal view.
If you really want cheaper accomodation then look to stay either on Venice Lido or on the mainland (Lido De Jesolo) with its regular boats to the Island.

If thats all still too expensive for you, then get the Eurostar to Paris and you can get some cheap Hotels with train deals if you search the web!

Paris is the most romantic city in the world, particularly in Spring.

Great city to just walk aorund.

Strolling hand in hand through the Tuileries gardens with the Lourve behind you and the Arc De Triumphe in front of you.

Went in Late October. Fly Ryanair, water bus/bus from airport to North of Venice.Hotel:…nte
Less touristy - the 'real' Venice'. More romantic dare I say. Do NOT go on a gondola.
All 3 cities have their strengths but for a time-out it has to be Venice IMHO.
