Holidays in UK

We would like to visit "some place" that we could say is a holiday mainly to relax chill maybe do something. We have 2 small ones (3 year old and 3 month old) so we dont want to go somewhere too expensive. We visited Alton Towers last year, stayed in a hotel and the little one loved it which gave us a small break.

Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts where we could visit? All ideas are welcome as you never know we may think its worth going.

i have a caravan at chapel st leonards

scarboroughs nice been going there since I was little and its fun for kids but not too busy like blackpool or a more commercialised beach resort x

I post a review on the caravan site we are just back from in Wooler which is nice,if you want something quiet near the borders. We booked via hoseasons,if you have any questions about it just ask, id recommend there as its not noisey at all, caravans are spotless and its a good position to explore from. Only complaint is that there wasnt much choice for food options so best to be prepared for cooking in the caravan
