hi folks

lookign to go to the dominican republic in sept 16-30th AI from Glasgow, saw a good deal with Thomas Cook, discussed with wife checked back two days later but same deal was £100 dearer each! whats that all about!?, i know TC change prices but £100 in a few days thats a rip off, anyone got any advice? wait it out or look alternatively?

Contact them over the phone and quote the price they inittially had it for and see if they will let you have it for that price.

If that's unsuccessful carry on searching you might find a better deal!

also, remember to use tripadvisor.com and look at travelzoo.co.uk

tried to contact by phone, but they wouldnt give me the holiday at previous price .even though i had the Tc ref number and had printed the page out, their loss! However, i will keep an eye on things and leave it to nearer the time, as they have come down slightly at moment. Take note Thomas Coook!, increasing prices by £200 each in 5 days is not on!

supply and demand eh? in essence, there will always be demand for good holidays, however that doesn't mean under adverse economic conditions that everyone can afford one even withe the old plastic;-) so i think that old chesnut has had its day!
