Just got my renewal through. Can anyone recommend any insurers? Also i am intending to get cashback via quidco- do i need to get both buildings and contents to get cash back or can i buy buildings and contents separately and get cash back on both????

Thanks.

Be sure to check moneysupermarket or confused first just to make sure it's worth getting the quidco.

be aware that if you use a comparison site sometimes you don't get the quidco, because they will award the commission to comparison site instead of quidco.
also you get a better deal if you buy both together. rather than from two different companies

I normally use a comparison site to check out the best deals for me but then actually buy through quidco instead cuz the cashback is much better. I've just gone for the lloyds deal as it's worked out £50 cheaper than my renewal & they will do it monthly interest free & I get £120 quidco cashback which has tracked already (about 24 hours - although it'll take about 3 months to come through.

I use IE to shop around & get quotes from various companies then when I've decided open firefox, clear cookies and go through quidco starting a new quote from scratch.

I'm not sure if all of this is needed but I never have tracking problems doing it this way.
