Hi-most include anything in your boundary as ar as I am aware. Some things covered on buildings and some on contents insurance. If you look at quidco they will give a large cashback with lloydstsb or asda (last tme I looked around £60 a policy-i just took out buildings and contents £256 and £130 back quidco.

A good place to start might be here :

I have just had fantastic customer service with ESURE, rang to say item broken, they rang me back next day, recieved replacement item the following day!

I had a brill bargain with mine, last year i paid 12.00 for buildings and about the same for contents. Renewal time ( 2 weeks ago) I found a company who offered exactly the same cover WITH accidental damage BOTH for 8.60!! per month!!

£12 for the year? What do you live in?

Definately look at going through quidco - and take out separate policies for buildings and contents. I did this last year and got £75 back for each policy. Looking back, I paid £141 for Prudential buildings and £132 for Esure contents. Both had accidental damage. Total paid = £273, cashback paid to me £150. Net cost £123 for the year. (£250K 3 bed detached)

LOL no i was paying abut 12 quid per month for buildings and about the same per month for contents... average .... 24quid per month.... my new cover is under 9.00 per month for both !

I just got annual insurance with Churchill, buildings and contents (on a 4 bed semi) for £200 a year including accidental damage, with £80 quidco cashback for each policy. It cost just £40! ooohh yes!
