Homebase stores are closing and there are stock clearances at stores as they close

Found 20th Jun 2017
Went to our local store today in Broadstairs and saw that the store was closing and they have a massive stock clearance. I went inside and spoke to someone from a stock taking company working within the store and managing stock clearances. He told me that Homebase was bought out by another company and that they are clearing all Homebase stock to make space for new goods. They have already done Folkestone recently and will be doing more stores soon. Stock is generally reduced by about 1/3 - dailymail.co.uk/wir…tml

happened in Worcester, just getting rid of old branded stock and end of line tools etc.roughly 30-50% off selected stock. Now replaced with more expensive items and cheap and nasty items.

This is true. It shows how long this has been in the pipeline.
