Want something you see like they have on the telly - private, secluded, luxurious and hot.

Budget for honeymoon £2000
max flight time 8 hours from uk
flying from Manchester or liverpool.

Any help/tips/suggestion appreciated.

not sure you will get your secluded little hut in the Caribbean for that (The prices for things like that are ridiculous)

We went to mexico for ours, to a place just south of playa del carmen. Was amazing!
cost us just over £1600. spend most of the time on the beach but also took a couple of snorkels with us to go see the turtles and it was brill.
The flights with Thomson now are all the new dreamliner planes which are so much better than standard ones (Im 6 foot 4 and had loads of room in standard class)
With the extra £400 it gives you a bit of spending money but could also treat yourslef to airport lounge or a night away in manchester first in a fancy hotel

Dominican Republic is your best bet.

All inclusive 5 star is possible but you will be in a large hotel on the beach.

Cuba

Have a look at holiday pirates they have Dominican Republic around £861 near your dates. Here is the example I tried

£2,000 each or per person?

Based on the requirements of the OP £2,000 for BOTH would be impossible. £2,000 each it would still be unlikely, but possible. So yes, a honeymoon does equate to two people (go you!) but it was a perfectly fair question.

come on, its a proper question. You arent going to get the OP's requirements for £1000 per person (private, secluded, luxurious and hot)

got anything constructive to say?

I can recommend this villa as stayed here last month and it was amazing (£965 for 10 days in october, £150 pp flights (?), car hire £80, 22-25C and mainly sunny in general in October). Guess it depends on whether this is 'hot' enough for you.

I liked your choice. The only thing against it was distance to the beach.

I guess in the case of the OP... They have to sacrifice at least one aspect of their ideal to do it within the money. Nice pool.
