Hoover washer dryer faulty

Hi all.

Can anyone help.

We have a washer dryer that is faulty.

The washing machine works fine.

However, when we try to use the dryer it stops turning after 10 mins. The fan carries on going for 5 mins then it shuts down. If you switch it off and on again it will do the same again.

I have checked the filter and this is clear.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like it is (or thinks it is) overheating.

If you are DIY minded, unplug, strip it down, and check for a build up of fluff.

Thanks Rob. Already done that and it looks fine.

It really does depend on how involved you wish to get and how technical you are. You could try replacing the thermister thermostat but could the controller. if you don't mind having a go and spending a bit of money try the above first on Espares.

Does it offer up an error code ?

Washer dryers always breakdown, buy a separate dryer, more economical too.
