hopefully you can give me some good advice

I am looking at getting 2 5 drawer chests h107cmx w60cmxd40 cm about 50kg each because they are black hi glosss i have asked for them to be wrapped up individually the lady has quoted 40 quid for the bubblewrap.I use to work in the RAF in a Reciept and Despatch area so we use to get loads of the stuff and for free is the price she quoted excessive.Or is there any other way to get them safely without scratches they will be on a van for about 120 mile trip, any useful info or help rep will be given.

Are you personally collecting them or are they being delivered? If the latter just check them over on delivery and if scratched/damaged refuse to sign. It's up to the seller to get the items safely to you.

bubble wrap is expensive if you have to buy it

Is it a private seller or a company? I would have thought a company has a responsbility under the sale of goods act to ensure anything bought from arrives in a satisfactory condition. In which case it's her resposibility to wrap them well??
Edit; and if it's a private seller, most couriers won't pick up items which aren't securely wrapped as they won't accept responsibility for damage caused by poor packaging.

So £40 for the bubblewrap is not expensive then?

nope, go and buy a decent enough quantity for the heavy bits they are sending, and it will probably come to that, maybe too they dont have the best resources to buy it from
