ps...want a new copy and under a tenner if poss as just bought a selection and am skintish

I can only find it from about £14-16 new, not an easy one to get hold of, unfortunately. The other option is Fleabay as with postage it's coming in at just over a tenner. See cat74 got in there first, looks like Fleabay is the best bet.

I've got the gate II, was about £11 region 1 (think it was ebay, but can't rememebr too well) i found it quite good, i like cheesy horror tho

Cheers guys.....looking at the Amazon one. Findadvd didn't come up with any :?

can't remember having watched The Gate II

Don't know if you've seen it yet, but if you're having a horrorfest then I'd recommend [REC] a Spanish Zombie film. I watched it last night and loved it, definitely one of the better horror films I've seen in a while.

Will have a look at that for the next fest , just watched the youtube trailer

A few folk on here had said it was good and it came in on my Lovefilm thingie yesterday morning, really good 'jumps' to be had and some very creepy bits too.

Another one I'd recommend for something a bit different is the Hong Kong Kung-Fu vampire film called "Mr Vampire". It's really (intentionally) funny and the fight scenes are amazingly well executed in it, Sammo Hung (from the US cop show Martial Law) is in it as a much younger man. Maybe it's a bit of an aquired taste, but I remember seeing it years ago on a C4 season of Chinese Horror films and then re-watched it recently and it was every bit as good as I remembered. I like to put one of those types of films in as a change of pace from really jumpy or gory horrors when having my own horrorfests, then follow it with a really jumpy one when they've been lulled into a false sense of security!:shock:

You can see the trailer on Lovefilm for it lovefilm.com/pro…325 and the Region 1 version is under a fiver delivered at Playtrade if you're interested, either way hope your horrorfest goes well next weekend!
