Hotel / B&B London (Gatwick)

I am looking for a cheap B&B near Gatwick airport.
I will only be getting there late evening and leaving the next morning to Airport for honeymoon.

Therefore I am looking for something close and handy to the airport (south terminal i believe) and cheap to keep as much money for the 2 weeks away.

Any suggestions would be great or even a good website that you have seen to search these.

thanks

We always use The Cambridge Hotel in Horley. Its very reasonable with free parking and they take and fetch you to airport all included.:)

I'm travelling via Gatwick soon and booked a Travelodge nearby for the night before as they have a £19 fare going at the minute...I managed to get a family room for £19 on a Friday night which I thought was a good deal!

Could be worth a go if you want something cheap and cheerful... travelodge.co.uk/sav…ch/

You don't say when you're going but the £19 saver fares have to be booked at least 18 days in advance, £29 fares at least 7 days in advance. Breakfast is extra, I think about £5 each if you pre-book it.

Hope that helps. The Travleodge obviously doesn't include free parking for the two weeks you are away if that's what you were after too though...

Quidco too don't forget...

Thanks for the help - unfortunatley The Cambridge Hotel is all booked up

Travel lodge prices look good I will have a look see what they have for my dates - only need 6th July 2008 (1 night).

Do you know is it easy to get to and from Gatwick from travel lodge. (I will be flying in from N. Ireland so don't need parking) Many thanks.

We stayed here:

They will look after your car while you're away, and will drive you to & from the airport. Can't remember how much, but they were the cheapest we could find when we flew last August.

Sorry no I don't know. There's a few choices round Gatwick so I'm sure you'd be able to get one on a bus route that goes to the airport. If not it's only a few miles so a taxi should be fairly cheap I guess.
