Hotel help required in Brussels + buying Cigarettes

Found 8th Mar 2008
I am off to Brussels for 2 days on Eurostar staying overnight, but I cannot find a hotel that is in a nice area, clean and reasonably priced, can anyone help!!

I will also like to buy some cigarettes whilst I am there, could anyone point me in the right direction on where to purchase and how much they are likely to cost. The cigarettes that I am looking to purchase are Superkings.

Phew, sorry to go on, but is there anything to do for children aged 9 to 16 whilst we are there as we are taking them with us, unfortunately. lol
Thanks in advance

Has no one been to Brussels lately??
Try I used it a couple of years ago to find one, just read the reviews to see if the area is nice or not.
A group of us went to Brussels in December and got a fantastic deal with a 5* Hotel called The Stanhope Hotel. It was in a lovely area of Brussels and so easy to get around using the tube which is really quick and reliable.

You can get great deals using or expedia. We paid about £60 per room per night.…nt/
don't know about superkings, but fags will be the same price where ever you buy them. There are newsagents in the station that have 200 cartons. Hotels, try tripadvisior for silken berlaymont
Well, me and my girlfriend got a cheap flight with Ryanair back in November to Charleroi international (yeah right, international my bum!) and the only shop for duty free was reasonably priced, but I could not find a single tobacconist in the entire city centre, had more luck finding a Wii there than I did smokes, lol.

Nice place, just dont expect to find cheap smokes until you get back to the air port if you go to Brussels city centre, but the waffles are great :P

Cigarettes are just over £30 a carton now in Belgium. Could tell you where to go in Charleroi but i also found tobacco products hard to find in Brussels. The following 2 links may be of some help to you:…tml…tml
I stayed at the Hotel Noga in brussels and it was fantastic.…cfm
i am always in brussels. I normally stay at Radisson. Its VERY nice but expensive (200EUR a night on company rate). I can only say radisson eu and radisson royal are really nice.

I dont smoke so cant comment there.
Thanks guys, I had almost given up hope of any advice.
All repped, Thanks again.
