Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help - I'm going to Thailand at the end of June (20th, arr. 21st) and wanted to know if anyone knew of any good deals on Hiltons or any other large chain hotels. The nicest looking place I've found is called the Lebua hotel, and this is £60 per night (around my price range).

Alternatively if anyone has been there and knows of a great place to stay, please do leave a post here.

    Thanks for your help.

where in thailand are you going to be staying?

I stayed in bangkok and patong beach Phuket last October I can tell you the hotels I stayed in which were both fab but not much good if you are going to pattaya.

I can not recommend Trailfinders enough for their advice and service!…t=6

I have travelled around the world a few times, and these guys have literally saved my a$$ at various points of potential disaster.

Don't forget that as Taxis (tuk-tuks) are so abundant and cheap location of hotel is less important in Bangkok.

Oh and don't forget to visit the snake farm in Bangkok - it's excellent!…tml

    Hope that helps,

I am looking for a hotel just in Bangkok for the first few days of our trip.

Think my girlfriend might get a bit spooked by the snakes but I'd love to go!

I asked another friend of mine and he recommended the atlanta - it's cheap but apparanently pretty cool.

    Thanks for your help

Me and my husband stayed at The President Solitaire Hotel in Bangkok.

We booked it with our flights through expedia if you go to the expedia site you can search for hotels in Bangkok and you will find all the info you need on this one.

We spent hardly any time in our hotel in Bangkok but the room we had was fantastic it came with a lovely bathroom which had a bath and a seperate shower.

It also had a kitchenette with a fridge which was really handy to keep snacks milk and water cold.

All the rooms have 42" Plasma tv's with dvd player we bought Ice age 2 while we were there and got in about 1am and thought we would put it on to watch also played our cd's we bought on it which was great.

The hotel has a bar and restaurant which we hardly used but they are there and has a small gym and an outdoor pool.

They also provided transport in there own tuk tuk down to the sky train which is really handy so you don't get all hot and sweaty walking down (which only takes 5-10 mins to walk)

Hope you find what your looking for and have a great time.

Make sure you visit The Suan Lum Night Bazaar we loved it Live music and all sorts of choices of food and drink and sooooooooo cheap.
