How busy is Thorpe Park during the Summer Hols?

Long story short, my birthday is in August and we typically don't do anything exciting because the schools are out and makes everywhere expensive and busy.

However, this year I want to do something! For my boyfriends birthday in June we went to Alton Towers for a few days so I am thinking of going to Thorpe Park for my birthday.

I have never been to a theme park during peak season so have no idea what to expect, just how busy does it actually get?

Thanks

Hmm, I don't want to go all that way and only get on a few rides. I might look into fast track tickets or might just look at going somewhere else!

When we went to Alton in June nearly all rides were walk on in the mornings!

Ye, and many Schools don't do the Alton Towers trip till late June/Early July.

I'd avoid Theme Parks during the summer, due to the fact they will be too busy. Even the Fast Track tickets can still be a long wait due to people having the same idea, buying the tickets to get on quicker
We did Drayton manor Park last week and no probelms at all. Went on most of the big rides 2 or 3 times
