Split it into chunks using win rar. That will also allow you to password protect it.
i have a gmail account but that only lets me send 25mb max.

Also the person i am sending it to isnt computer savvy so i think will have problems unraring it
Put it on a disc and post it?

cant as needs to be sent asap and being sent abroad
get a dropbox / rapidshare account... upload it and send the link to the public file.
Was thinking you could maybe send it through messenger file transfer but you'd obviously need to have a "live! account for that . Might work but I don't know how long it'd take due to the distance etc etc .
sign up for a mediafire account for free. you upload then email the link for them to download. thats about as good as your gonna get.....

Mediafire
megaupload
thanks for the help just password protected it and set up a megaupload account and uploading now

Thanks for the advice everyone :-)

Use hotfile

Didn't know they had those ads, but anyone its just for a friend so doesnt matter.
FTP?
Are you trying to send photos?
If so open a photobucket account, upload them there and send the person the link is what I would do. You can password protect the account too if you like.
no its some video clips,

just dont understand why megaupload has that error

You just have to wait - i'll probably be fine tomorrow. When I get that error, sometimes just refreshing the page fixes it.

You can always try uploading it again

edit: and if you still have no luck with Megaupload, I would try Mediafire. That'd be my second choice to Megaupload.
