How can I get a Mattress from London to Manchester, Hire van?

    Hi

I've been given a nearly new mattress (king size), but it is in London and I am in Manchester.

Luckily I am working in London during the week, so thinking the best one is to hire a van.

If this is the best idea, anyone know of the best deals for hiring a van in London (sheps bush area or near it ish) and dropping off in Manchester?

I agree, that bedframe and mattress from Argos posted earlier in deals is only a 100 quid, granted its not king size, but still, its a bargain.

ring a few removal companies and ask about a back load.... if any is doing any jobs from man - lon then they will nip around add it to the load and charge a flat fee. mattress is easy to fit in

    Try this: shiply.com/

    Hi guys
    cheers for posts.

The matteress is over £1000 from my 'london' based brother, so curious to see what a thousand pound mattress is like, as I'll never ever spend anything close to that..
