is it valuable? get it valued then they would confirm it? I dont know if jewellers would authenticate something like this, you could always phone one and ask

i guess you have no reciept?
pop to a jewlers they can give you the best advice and tell you how much its worth

    good idea will ring now.

But Dior jewellery is cotume jewellery (well most of it) and isnt that expensive to buy from debenhams etc. so i doubt jewellers will value it as the items started at £40 + so im guessing they wont.
Also with Dior jewellery you can normally tell by the boxes as because the jewellery wasnt that expensive the fakes were really cheap and didnt often come in boxes. My girlfriend has loads of the jewellery so im interested if you are going to sell on here.
    Thanks.

as youve now listed these did you find anyway of authenticating them, thought better ask in here as dont want to be classed as a thread spoiler for asking in your thread, although as you know someone will ask in the fs thread

To be honest i would say these are real but the price is way overpriced in my opinion as i think it would f been around that price new and that was 6 years ago, bearing in mind they are stratched and 56 years old, seems alot to me. If you do manage to sell them for that i reckon my girlfriend will sell her sets. lol.

    are these solid silver?

Is this something you want to sell on here? If not, why do you give a toss whether or not people on here believe you have genuine Dior jewellery? Do you really need to impress a bunch of people that you don't know by telling them about the jewellery you have got?

ide say at a wild guess theres your answer

Why bother asking for advice then totally ignoring it? lol

Peoples advice was it would probably be best to get it valued first, even more so now seeing the prices you have put up.

Have a look at ebay item number: 180335616506
It is completed but the necklace brand new sold for £17, the seller also states the RRP: is only £41. That is just the necklace however.

No i dont think they are. I think they are only costume jewellery. I may be wrong however but my girlfriends seems to think they're not and thats why all the price where around £50 per item. Well they were the ones she bought, some were a lot cheaper and some more expensive!!

To be honest i think some did. My girlfriend was very careful with hers but her mum had a necklace from debenhams and she sprayed perfume on here neck and it turned a funny colour. She says it wasnt green but a reddy rusty tinge.
Yep they are definately paying just for the name but they do do some lovely bits.
I thought u couldnt get them anymore as Debenhams stopped stocking them but i've just seen on ebay that they are available from House of Fraiser (well at xmas they were)

OOOOOOOOhhhhhhhh no my thread selling these has been locked so going to lock this one tooooooo

Hi gemmyw, with any branded item in FS/T, where there is any doubt over it's authenticity, we will normally lock the sales thread & quote rule (4). It's standard procedure for any sales item like this (designer clothes, jewellery, electrical appliances etc), especially where the seller themselves have expressed doubt about their origin :

    hotukdeals.com/ite…t=9

We have a few threads that fall into this category every month and they are all assessed & treated in the same way by all the Moderators / Forum Helpers.

    Thanks
