Fair point, but if the multinationals undercut all the little companies, the ones who have to pay there tax. Will we all end up working for Starbucks on minimum wage.
It's cheaper to produce Viagra than Prozac

YES! but unfortunately it requires everyone to vote for independent candidates at election time. We have seen our working conditions and pensions being eroded by both Labour and the Tories, including side show Clegg.

We need real working class people in control, who will look after the rights of the people of this country. Not war mongering, expenses grabbing liars.
Only answer, leave Europe or nuke Lichtenstein and Switzerland.

csiman,

Your argument isn't the same. Pfizer are an American company and don't pay any UK tax,as if I recall they have a manufacturing plant in Ireland so can ship and sell within the EU. However if Tescos were to ship direct to the state's then yes they would have to pay tax on several levels.

Correct, they do. What I think the issue is, is people feel these large multi national companies avoid paying certain taxes by manipulating or using to their advantage trading policies in markets like the EU.

The only way around it would be to withdraw from it and adopt a trading policy like the States or China. Is our economy strong enough to cope with it, would large UK companies stay in this country?? It's not as straight forward as people think.
