    They're still in Pizza Express

has he still got them on X)

    At his mistress house?

He took them back for a refund I bet!

Over the last year I've lost 8 t-shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, 4 pairs of pumps/trainers, 2 sweatshirts and a jacket, loads of boxers, socks and accessories...

Where the HELL do they all go?!?!?!?! I was horrified when I started adding up all the clothes I used to have and then realised that my wardrobe didnt correspond at all!

OMG - how is that possible?

No idea debz; I have a nervous break-down if members of a pair of socks end up in different washes and don't dry at the same time.

    Washing machine ate them

I reckon petty theft from university washing machines is partly to blame. Also leaving stuff at peoples houses or something, idk.

    Horrible anyway!

Well at least you're going to be easy to buy for at Christmas.

At the moment I cant even find a job so i'll just be asking for basic survival items (food and money for bills), no fancy luxuries like new clothes for me

Well im a bit of an idiot really, I refuse to sign on because I don't think I "need" or deserve it (and also ofc partly concerned about the stigmatism, though I realise that's silly). I worked and saved for times like these though so I will survive... and there's a job round the corner, I can feel it

P.S. I have done about a thousand comps and never won a thing... here's to hoping though!

laundry thieves = my next door neighbour, they probably stole £1000 worth of stuff over a 3 year period inc my favourite pants lol

I was the same, i lasted a year, but with bills mounting up i had to give and go for help. As you say, stupid really, it's there for helping people, so may as well use it. Plus, in my experience, with a degree, your not looked upon as a dosser.

As regards to the clothes, do they not either go straight into the wardrobe or a chest of drawers in the bedroom? The most clothes i've lost is the odd sock.

you should sign on cause when your working and paying tax etc your funding these layabouts who have no intention of finding work so why the hell not. No problem with people going through hard times or looking for work but the ones who have no intention of working disgust me. I went on dole for 2 months when I finished uni but damn I looked for work and it paid off

Two years ago I lost a new bra and a pyjamas set from La Senza. They were bought for my daughter for Christmas.

Just got the Halloween box out and there they are. Blonde or what!

I lose stuff all the time - bit of a shopaholic and tend to leave the stuff in bags then when I go to get them I can't find them for ages. Kids stuff for birthdays and christmas especially. I've actually found a few things I bought for LAST christmas in the garage so they'll be getting used for this christmas instead, providing I remember that is....

    Eeewww creepy!!!

I usually find my stuff in hubby's wardrobe, and the kids stuff in mine. Considering I'm the only one who puts stuff away, I'm not sure how it happens. Random wardrobe fairy must shuffle stuff about when I'm not looking. Having said that, a LONG time ago someone used to steal my knickers off the washing line.
