    How do i cook a Egg?

    I get the first bit about pouring oil in to a pan, but how much, how hot do i put it up to and how long do i leave it in the pan?

    some of you shoudl be ashamed of yourselves. advising people to put whole eggs in the micro!

    Some people can be naive so there are probably loads of people right now making a mess of their microwaves by taking your advice!

    Yeh as if im just gonna place a full egg in the microwave haha.....i only put half in.

    The best way of cracking egg shells without damaging yolks is to crack one egg against another, seriously only one shell will crack and the yolk remain intact.

    simple. chuck a teaspoon of spread in a max heat fry pan.

    let it melt, break the egg in a cup first, so you dont have shells. Then throw it in the pan. Then, once it has started cooking, throw a saucepan lid on it (preferably clear so you can see)

    This will cook the top of the egg quicker!

    turn the heat down to mid until its done. Then enjoy.

    (its amazing what my own knowledge covers without the need for google)

    if your un-sure about how to go cook, the best way is to get boil them, but instead of putting water in the man, put milk and chocolate, so the milk turns chocolatey, and it will marinate the egg, boil for 10mins, then remove the shell.

    How I do it

    Scrambled - Mix two or three eggs together with a small shot of milk. Put a bit of marge or butter in a hot pan and wait till it's starting to spit. Use a wooden/plastic spatula to push through and fold the mixture for a couple of minutes until the egg looks cooked. Make sure you use a hot pan and keep the egg moving as a cold pan makes it have that milky liquid and not stirring makes it burn. Add chopped salmon or whatever at the mixing stage to make different flavours.

    Easy poached - Get a cup and smear a little marge or butter in the bottom. Take one tablespoon of boiling water from the kettle and add to the cup. Crack an egg into the cup and water then poke the yoke with a sharp knife to pierce. Find a lid from something like a tupperware box and put it over the top (it can spit) then stick it in the microwave for 45secs (adjust as you need).

    C, alot of people cant do this without the milk leaving a ****** horrible liquid in your egg!

    put a pan on a small hob ring, and max heat, throw in a knob of marg. Then break 3 eggs in a cup, put salt and pepper. Stir gently!

    put it in a pan, let the egg cook on the bottom, then fold the mixture, breaking the yolks, but not too much. You get a really nice flavour when the yolks are not mixedi n. No need for milk.

    Nikki B's on the money. But here's a neat little bit of knowledge for you - my body-builder friend tells me that it's safe to eat eggs raw, providing they're in date, and have the Lion's Mark. So don't be concerned if your yolk is runny.
