How do i go about leaving a debt management comany?(bains and ernst)

Hi i posted a message on this forum a while back regarding myself using bains and ernst for the last 3 years, was told my many forum members to leave them and i decided i will deal with the creditors myself and not waste money on bains sill fee,i cant find anywhere on how i go about leaving bains and ersnt,i have a standing order set up with them but would i have to give them notice?some help would be great as i want to leave them as soon as possible

You have to cancel the standing order and then write to each of your creditors informing them that you are now dealing with it yourself and that they will be receiving payments from you now not the DMC.

Instead of MSE head over to consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/

    Ring them up & cancel.
Thats what I did a few years ago...

    do they need notice?

Looking on their site > ]Clicky
The FAQs state that there is no charge and you can cancel at any time...no mention of notice that I can see...

national debtline are really good and they are a goverment based charity so no fees there and they also send you a pack if you want to deal with your creditors yourself hope you get sorted
