    How do I tell what onboard network controller I have on my computer?

    Device manager isnt finding the drivers for me

    go to the motherboard manufacturer's website and download the manual, that will tell you the network chipset.

    well if your machine is an acer aspire 1100 as the motherboard indicates then the drivers are above.
